1. Understanding Skin Tones vs. Undertones

When we talk about skin color, there are two elements we consider:

• Skin Tone: The visible color of your skin (light, medium, dark, etc.)
• Undertone: The subtle hue beneath the surface—cool, warm, or neutral

Why It Matters:
Pigments react differently depending on your undertone. The wrong match may fade into an undesirable shade (like grey or orange) over time.

2. Brow Pigments by Skin Tone

Fair Skin:

• Works best with light taupe or blonde pigments
• Ash tones prevent red or orange fading

Medium Skin:

• Neutral or soft brown tones
• Avoid going too light or too dark—balance is key

Olive or Tan Skin:

• Rich brown pigments with warm or cool adjustments based on undertone

Dark Skin:

• Dark brown or espresso hues work well—not black, which can turn bluish
